The Earth is a place of countless wonders. Mother nature has given earthlings everything that we need: we can get food from plants and animals and we built our own shelter using materials which the Earth itself provides us. Well, in other words, an almost perfect environment has been given to our forefathers. However as technology advances, we learn more about the Earth, we explore new horizons, we source for all kinds of natural minerals and resources. We now have the intelligence to make good use of what ever resources we can find, to the extend that some of these natural resources are depleting at incredible speeds. A good example is the rainforest. Logging companies cut down thousands of trees everyday because trees are used in building houses, making furniture, providing pulp for making newspapers, magazines and lots of other paper products. Every time logging companies cut down trees in the rainforests, it takes years and years for those tress to grow back. People in the third World still use wood as fuel for cooking and for heating. There are about 2000 million people cutting down trees for firewood faster than the trees can grow. Therefore to ensure that there is always a sufficient supply of wood in the future, We have to start conserving trees. This also applies to all other natural resources. The ultimate message is, If we do not care about our own Earth and its depleting natural resources, who will? Hence all of us should do our part in conserving the Earth's natural resources.

� Use tupperware instead of plastic wraps
� Reuse plastic bags, containers, boxes, etc as many times as possible
� Use paper already written on one side for scratch
� Use refillable pen and pencil
� Use a cloth lunchbag

Most importantly, We have to learn to recycle paper.
